    '81-'82 250R pipe....Is it OEM or aftermarket?

    Definitely not a Mugen. Looks like a Cobra to me. Here's a picture of a 1st gen Mugen next to a sectional for a 2nd gen. 250R.

    After lookin' at alotta pipes, it looks to me like maybe a DG....Could it be? Daddio, do you have any pics of a Cobra pipe? I couldn't seem to find any....

    It could be a DG. I think most of them are marked. I have a few pics of a Cobra but it's mounted and it's a 2nd gen. with a 300 kit.

    This is my sons "1upfront" 300R. It won the Mod class at TF09 and also won the Best Engineered award that year. That was the only way to run the throttle cable and still keep the big
    38 PWK sitting level. There is a nice rubber boot that goes from the frame down to the carb. It's been sitting in storage since 2010. I'm trying to talk him into taking it to TF14.

    No, but he still has everything to finish it. Things got scary slow where we work so all non-essential stuff like that got put on the back burner. Things just started to pick back up a little and if it keeps going like this you may see it get finished. He did finally get everything to finish the Mugen engine. Now he just needs to find a nice 1st gen roller to put it in.
