    Yeah if you are that against them then don't get one. I was thought they sucked as well until I saw the difference it made in the appearance of my brothers bike.
    Have you seen the DC plastics covers at all?
    Cheap used.

    Ya I did see those last night, they look like a better alternative than a tank cover for sure. I was just hoping for a good swap suggestion. I remember the '78 or '79 KX's had a very similar shaped tank...

    dang thing is not loading properly. but anyways clarke makes an tank for 85 t3's and looks real good look my avatar picture it has a clarke tank on it.

    Mines still new/unused, was thinking about kreaming the inside before filling it with gas, anyhow it looks better than the original thrashed tank I had to start with.

    i have pictures of it but can never get them to load to the forum with my mac. i used a 85 kx250 tank and radiator. i did it to mimic a franks racing t3 i had seen pictures of. my tank isnt very nice tho,its scratched and stained
