85 250r atc coolant resivoir ideas

Lookin to add a resi to my bike. Previous owner didn't have one. My problem is the top mounting bracket for the resi isn't there. Was wondering if anyone has had this issue and how to solve it ?

You can make one out of aluminum or make a hanger bracket for it. I've seen a hanger bracket made from 1/8 bar stock. A small circle was made first for the mounting bolt to go through but a larger washer is needed for it, then he made a carrier cage for it.

Due to my using a z400 rear master cylinder on an R I built last winter, I was unable to mount the coolant ressy. I just routed the line to hang near the swingarm pivot so overflowing coolant would have a place to go. So far I have not lost coolant or had any other issues.

Just an option I thought I would throw your way.

I haven't had a chance to fire it up since I drained all the old coolant out and put new but im hoping I don't lose any.

From where? The coolant tank or the hose connecting to the tank?

I don't have a coolant tank. It's dripping out of the overflow line straight from the radiator
