I found this pic out of Cycle News and if you look on the right side of the trike you can see the radiator. This was in 1984 right before the 85 models came out. One of my amateur teammates from North Carolina raced the Air cooled version that we sold to the public. They were fast and at most local races I just rode the 200 in the 250 class
just to help stay tuned up.

1984 Atc 250R de-stroked and sleeved down to 200cc. This motor was watercooler but the public bought air cooled versions.
