1984 250r atc rear brake caliper replacement?

im looking at getting an 84 250r, but it has no rear brake setup(no caliper or pedal) and I was wondering what else would work on it. also, what is it supposed to have for compression, around 120-140?

Compression is 142-165psi with 128 being the service limit. I've heard you can use a 200x front caliper for the R rear. Also heard certain year kx85 and Cr65 dirtbike front calipers work.

The 02-06 kx85 rear caliper is a direct swap. It bolts up to the stock caliper bracket and works great.

    you can use:

83-87 200x front and rear calipers
81-84 250R front and 82-84 rear calipers (81 had drum)
    85/86 350X rear caliper

you will need the 83/84 250r rear caliper MOUNT to use any of these calipers.

I looked at the 250r but it was beyond what I wanted to fix up. I appreciate the help though.
