First I would like to thank the folks that run this site they do a great job!

I have just acquired 4 ATC 110s, 1980, 1983,1984 and a 1985. 2 are running (84 and 85) 85 needs gasket set (call her smokey) and needs shift lever replaced. She starts first pull no matter how long she sets. The guy I got it from just used perma-tex for gasket. 84 flat out runs great! the 80 is a parts bike. The problem child is the 83. All in time, has great spark but will not fire. Shoots a blue flame out exhaust port. Any ideas? Valves? Haven't adjusted yet. Seems I can't find my feeler gauges. Damn kids..lol
Any direction would be quite helpful. Thanks in advance,

    JustJimmy

Here's my question.... Would the exhaust value being not set to .003 prevent from starting? Found gages and plan on doing this tomorrow any help would be great.Attachment 180866Attachment 180867

It very well could be valves out of adjustment. How ever I would lean more to it being a bent valve. I have seen quite a few 90/110's that the owner put the wrong plug in and bent a valve.

So, make sure you have the correct plug. Perform the necessary valve adjustments, and then do a wet/dry compression check.
