    NE 1 Else Got a ReDneCk silencer . . .

LMAO. :-D Not sure if its a redneck silencer but I was getting tired of my stock 200x exhaust. It was worn out and had a huge dent so I junked it. My bro and I ran it without the silencer for a day since we just got the 200x back from Howdy (electrical problem). After 30 minutes we liked the sound of it but it was way to noisy for our parents and we were scared of bothering the neighbors. We had to do something about it so I found a YZ125 silencer laying around. Hmmm. . . it should work with a little fabrication, here is the result. O yah it lowered the sound level quite a bit but it is still louder than the stock silencer.

If it works, then it works. As for redneck silencer, I think I had you beat. When I bought my tri-z it had welded together soup cans for the silencer, soup cans, go figure.

That looks cool! Its practically a straight pipe exhaust so I doubt its very quiet. But who likes being silent anyway, right?

As for redneck, my buddy used to use automotive screw-on oil filters as exhaust baffles for his XR100. Worked well too.

My friend used a gutter  (yes, the kind that goes on the roof of your house) for an exhaust system. It was a Bayou 220 and man was it loud!!

Well like I said its not extremly silent but not extremly loud. It is about as loud as my Supertrapp pipe on the 350x. Id say you guys have me beat as far as the redneck silencer goes. Especially the gutter one, lol.

When I bought my LT-4WD, it had just half of a lawn mower muffler on it!! You know the ones that look like a pop can! It had split at the seam along the side and fell off somewhere.

I ended up buying a COBRA exhaust for it AND found out it was registered wrong at DMV when I got the part. It's really a 89 when the registrations says 91. Sooooooo.... I broke the redneck chain and took the pipe to an auto muffler shop and they bent me a nice header pipe to connect up the exhaust.

Actually, I did do a redneck thing at the shop.... I had it loaded on our dirt hauler dump truck. I lowered the tail gate so the guy could take a look at it. He said he could do it and said to drive over accross the street to the old train depot platform to unload it. (This truck bead is about 3½ ft off the ground) I had the 4wheeler in gear, park brake doesn't work but thought it was OK. Well, I pull out over the curb onto the streeet and .... you guess it... CRASH. The gearing stops the bike form rolling forward but not backwards. I look in the rear view mirror and see the bike sitting squarely in the middle of the road. I think the lady driving down the road must have soiled her drawers! Went over and fired it up and drove it into the shop and had a laugh with all the guys.

LOL. A little while back I sold a KDX80 on here and for some odd reason the old owner had welded a lawnmower muffler on that pipe because he couldnt find the real silencer for it. Little to loud for me.
