Questions about frame powder coating and 200x rim size

    Hi
I looked around and I found the best/closest powdercoating shop in my area. I came up with a place called A+ powdercoating in Niles OH. They do EVERYTHING, their oven can fit a whole car !
So, I gave them a call the other day, gave them dimensions of my 200x frame, and they said a media blast and powdercoat would run me about $250-$275.
I was shocked at how high this was. Is this what is to be expected, or are these guys trying to rip me off????

Also, Was looking for some new rear 200x rims. Stock size is 11x8, 3+5. i've looked, and there are NO rims that are 11x8. will an 11x8 tire work on a 10x8 rim? Or should I just switch both tire and rim?
On that subject, I'm looking for a great MX tire. I'm down to fast trekkers and turf tamers. Thoughts?

The last frame and some misc parts I had done was around $250 for sandblast and powder coating and around here that was a pretty good deal. Maybe call a couple more places but I wouldn't think they will be much cheaper. Good luck.

I powder coat and I say that's a great price. A frame is a pain and it's not the powder coating part. It's the sand blasting and prep if the job is to be done right. Very good price especially for high quality work.

Stock tire on the 200X was 22x11x8, rims were 8x8:

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be sending the frame off once i get it stripped down.
Thanks for the rim help. I had assumed that the tire size matched the rim size. Now i see it does not
