Aftermarket or other Brake Caliper for 1985 Tri-Z front end?

Is there an aftermarket front brake caliper that bolts right on to the Tri-Z front end? Alternatively, is there a caliper from another model which will work?

No I don't think so, but Yamaha still sells all the parts for proper rebuild and they still sell the calipers. Just fork out the $ for OEM parts, clean and paint them then re-assemble. Pretty cake actually and you will be riding in no time.

Alot of your Chinese scooters and mopeds run the same caliper as the Z did.
Specifically the Xingyue 150ITA model. The bracket will not fit the Z but the caliper will fit the Z brackets. I ran one on the raffle Z.

The problem is finding a distributor that consistently stocks the parts. But when you do find them they are cheap. Like 30-40 bucks brand new.

Here is a pic on a scooter and one on the Z I built.
