I seriously doubt it. Two different animals, different motors, different ignition curves, different timing.
There a a thread on here somewhere where they used on on an 86'.same plugs and everything.I know a stock cdi will work my question is will a digital cdi work as well?
I know that aftermarket CDI's on a 250r are nothing but problems from first hand experience.
I would tend to stick with OEM on a 350x as well.

Those dyna tech CDI's will not gain you anything but problems. I'm not alone on this, I put one on my 2007 Grizzly 660 with the promise of increased rev limiter, higher top speed, more power, and get rid of the rev limiter in reverse and when in dif lock. The only thing I noticed is I wasted my money, absolutely no performance increase and for the rev limiters in reverse and dif lock, I could very easily ground a few wires to get rid of them.
Then not quite a year after installing this thing my machine started running horrible, so I cleaned the carb, tank, new plug and checked a few other things and found out my dyna tech box was bad. The company would not stand behind the product, even though I was told there is a one year warranty on parts. It's still sitting in my tool box drawer.
So I say save your money.
Can you put a degreed key in them? Just looking for a little more grunt.
NOS_350X did it and felt no gains if I recall.....

This thing is a monster.besides a cam what can I do.I already smoke my buddy with an 86' thats got a nos motor on it and a 4+swinger.and I mean I pull him hard out of the hole and all the way through the eight mile.I set his up with a DG,uni,jetted and all.his runs perfect,mines just faster.ive got a small 6sigma nitrous kit I want to use the next time we go race and see how that works out.I just want/crave more power!!!! Might go ahead a stuff a cr500 in er and see how that goes
Are you running race fuel?Swap out he carb.About the only other thing you can do.Besides the cam which you mentioned.Look into those.
I run around a 30/70 mix of 112 and high test.when i race its straight rqce fuel.I want to put a 400ex carb on it but I'm kinda Leary......I just got the jetting rite on this one.lol
