    200x dim headlight

The headlight on my 200x is very dim. When I first got it the light was dim at normal then fine when I revved it up which is normal. Now it takes 10-15 secs to come on when I hit the switch, and it barely lights up. Even when I rev it up it makes no difference. It's easier to ride around with the light off in the dark than to have it on. And the tail light won't come on at all.

    Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like its time for a new lighting coil but check all your grounds good first .

Correct its for lights only . Its the larger of the 2 coils located in the left hand flywheel cover .

On my 350X, it was just dirty connections. Like, Shortline said, check the wiring first.

Keep in mind the 200 series trikes don't use a conventional regulator. They use the bulbs filaments and wiring to regulate power. Typically if one bulb blows, it will lead to the other one blowing due to an over-voltage condition. Be sure all your connections are clean and replace both bulbs at the same time.
