Are you booking for a heavier spring or a softer spring?
Something that would work for somebody that weighs 225lbs.
Stock spring and shock carry my 245lbs frame well..
You talking about jumping?
Current toys..
1986 Honda 350X..trail bomb!
1985 Honda 250SX..my main mudder
1985 Honda 250ES..Back in Black Trike
Current non-trike toys:
1990 Honda TRX300FW
1995 Seadoo GTX
1998 Polaris Indy Lite 340(Nearly new looking)
1998 Polaris Touring 500
1998 Club Car (electric)
I'm 220 and my stock X needs to be stiffer, but I need to be thinner....
The RX rear 450R and 250R shock and linkage are perfect, I do bottom the front on big jumps with 20wt oil and progressive springs.
So, I moved up to 30 wt but cannot test here unless I build a bigger jump. I'm at 40' or so when I got hurt on a simple trail ride so I have no feedback yet.
I'm sure most of the shock re-builders can get you a heavier rated spring.

All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
I need to be thinner also.![]()
I had the rear shock on my bike rebuilt/revalved and checked on a rear spring and he said it was a 600#spring stock and he said they dont make any springs heavyer so he changed the valving and oil weight. It made a big differance in it . And I'm a 300# rider
If its on the internet its got to be true they can't put any lie's on the internet
Not so much stiffer but new.
My shock builder counldnt find a heavier spring for the 350x shock.
I'm sure after it's long life it has lost some of it's spring.Really would like to replace it.
