Would you trade?

Hi I'm new to this forum but not new to atc, I have a good size hoard of big reds and been riding since I was knee high of a grass hopper.

question for you all....

Would you trade a early 2000s polaris 500ho 4x4 quad with low hours for a 85 350x in near mint shape? I'm really tossed up on this decision.... What's your option ...

My thoughts are that quads come and go for the most part but 350x are hard to find and this is a sweethart, I do get great use from my quad with plowing snow and great rides through the trails with it but when do you find a 350x? Not often, right?

Since the 2000 Polaris 500 4X4 and a really clean 350X are of about the same value..approx $2500-3000 in my local market it does seem to be an relatively even trade.

2nd, in 5 more years the ATV will be worth less than now and in all likely hood the 350X will be worth more. The 350X has increased local to me almost 2x in the last 3 years..

As I understand from other BC members..the trikes are few and far between there. I had someone from BC buy a clean little ATC110 I had back in the summer then arrange his own shipping to bring it to him from Ontario.

I'd say..thumbs up!!

Be sure to post up some pics if you get it done..also I hope this is a closed deal and not someone you've contacted on Kijiji. If that 350X is advertised, you best move on this or it will be gone..there are alot of people looking for these things.

Hello and welcome! I agree with Doug. I am from B.C to and I rarely see a 350X for sale. I traded a 2002 Yamaha YZ 250f for mine and my X needed some work.

That's kinda how I was looking at it quads are always around but a clean near mint 350x isn't so much. If i do decide to trade I'll make sure I snap a few pics of her, but regardless I do have four trikes on hand now that I play with regularly, there's three of them in a avy pic....

Forgetting why we all love our trikes for a moment, just in the realm of value and which will maintain/gain value and which will go down in value, it's a no-brainer.

Do it do it do it, I would consider trading my left nut for one. I also live in bc, they don't come up for sale often and when They do the add disappears before you even have a chance to call it. Where do you live? I live up in FSJ
