    Hey 250sx owners!

Shout out to those of you with 250sx experience!

What is your favorite modification that you have done to or have seen done to a 250sx???
We already have an '87. It's my daughters, but now my wife has chosen to also get the same model because she likes my daughters so much. I like to have different stuff so I figured I could upgrade and modify hers to be different. So what's been done?

personally I think tires are the best upgrade you can do. everything else is just personal preference. here's mine.

    Agree with 59GMC..

The rim/tire update makes this thing!!

I've done it on a couple of mine..(and my ESs too)

I agree with the above, the front wheel/tire change combo is sweet.
I made the change on my project SX, and once that project is done as a whole, im pretty sure I will make the same change to my original SX. Also, although its much louder, I like the supertrapp pipe on my original SX. I got to ride my poject SX with the stock pipe, and noticed a pretty big difference between the two. My SX with the supertrapp being way more quick in and out of corners.

The ones I have all came with orig? round tires.
I've changed them to flatter profile so they kinda match the roll characteristics
    of all the other trikes.
Every one of us rolled the first sx within minutes because we were used to hard tails, big reds etc.
    Just a utilitarian preference.

I'm fixing one up for my gf with 23x13.5 Maxxis Rubi's, 2" wheel spacers, front/rear rack, winch, compressor, and the 200x front end conversion. The wider rear with flat profile tires makes it a bit more stable too. The SX's are pretty amazing and don't need too much done to be great machines.

Best thing, would be sell it and buy a 85-87 ES... Anyone want to buy my SX? Thought I could learn to love the SX, but just cant!
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

i had one back in the 90's it was my favorite wheeler.. I had more fun on it than my 350x or 250r. Disc brake front end is the favorite mod.. I could never keep good working brakes on front or back
