    front suspension

    Does anyone know if the suspension is the same on a 1984 honda 200-e, and a84 honda 200 es big red
    front end.

    I belive the 84es is different, from what i understand is the 84es's front forks are prone to failure. ive herd of a lot of people doing a front end swap to something like the e, m and simular models

    200e and 200es are the same...200m is different (and better) - but requires a complete swap.

    The 200M forks are a good upgrade/replacement if you have a 200ES with shot forks... You can't even get the replacements to rebuild the ES forks now, not available that i know of the last i looked. If the forks ever go to heck on my 200ES i plan on doing a 200M swap. The 200M forks also have more travel and give a better ride.
