Just bought an 85 big red 250

pretty happy i found one in great shape... the motor is super quiet doesn't smoke and has great compression. it has a clarke tank on it which looks over sized to me. this is my first trike!

    got it for 1100

    VERY nice.
Make sure you check the rear axle gear oil or change it....only 3 point 3 oz.
    Plastic tank means no rust.

Be careful or you'll wind up with a few more.

Nice, from what I understand I understand in BC trikes are premium dollar..I sold a ATC125M last summer here for $900 to a guy near Vancouver and he arranged his own shipping from Ontario to BC.

I'd have to guess that getting clean 250ES there for $1100 is damned near theft!!

Does the guy still have the 200X? I would be interested in it, if he has it.

He probably still has it. I didn't start it but kicked it and it felt like it had a lot of compression. Had some stitching on the fender but otherwise good shape I'll bet he would take 900

The tank is not oversized. It is the same size as the metals. And even the metals you don't have to worry about rust much on these. I bought one sitting for 20 years and the gas cap seal worked great, no rust! Nice Big Red man! Posted a pic of mine. I won't tell you what I paid tho

Someone took good care of it for sure. The engine oil looks fresh and air filter looks brand new. Going to check the final drive soon

this things super fun to ride on gravel piles

part of the reason i chose to get an ATC is because it fits thru the gate into my backyard, but juuust barely
