any have any info on this yamaha trike?

From what I can gather these were kit trikes? I saw an ad for a place I think it was Tricky Dicks, you use your YZ and adapt it to a Honda ATC 90 or 110 rear and plastics to make this... ? does anyone know if that's what this was? Its such a cool looking trike.. Im loving the old school YZ look to it! the tank the seat (I think the seat is from the ATC..?) it just looks so bad ass!

I believe its a modified 81 YZ250 with YT plastics and seat. Most likely pre Tri-Z, meant to compete with early 250Rs. There one or two in this advertisement....

I'm from (and grew up) in the same small Missouri town that Tricky Dick started from, I never knew they had a big reputation for their 2 to 3 wheeler conversions! I knew the Lillards and they were very popular esp as EVERY teenager wanted their motorcycle converted to a 3 wheeler! I believe Andy is one of my FB friends!

But I don't have any info on the one you are talking about, just had to give a shout out for Tricky Dick's!!

what ever that trike I s, I want one.....lol it is so cool looking because I love the old school dirt bikes looks. I had growing up, a TM 125 and a YZ 250 both from the mid 70s and they rocked....lol I toyed with the idea of mounting an old YZ or even a RM Gas tank on my 225 DXN but the seat would present a problem and getting the seat of an older MX bike to work with the plastics just seems almost impossible. lol

that Cagiva was sick!!! Man, why would these companies cave so easily to the liberal D bags who were crying about Trikes being dangerous? I mean... ANYTHING is dangerous when its being used by someone who is untrained, or over confident or plain stupid... You don't see auto makers being sued because people have died in their cars. Jeeze, again, it comes down to Daddy and Mommy making sure little JR. knows WTF he is doing when he rides or drives, its not the manufacturers fault if brainless dorks with no common sense buy and crash their products. Maybe one should have to pass a mental aptitude test before being allowed to buy one... lol ok, done Ranting...lol

yeah there it is...lol too bad they weren't selling those.
I love this Ad... lol esp. "Its got front forks" ... as opposed to trikes that don't? lol you just imagine forks and a wheel on the front? lol and boy were they jabbing at the Hondas huh? lol and I love the farmer who's all PO'd at the other farmer who's driving away on the trike while he's fixing his old Ford tractor (another thing Id love to get my hands on... an old ford 8 or 9 N tractor!) thanks for posting that link!
