    YT60 Zinger recoil rebuild question

Hello gents, I happened into a deal on a Zinger. It's been sitting for a long piece. It's in great shape all parts are present. I've got fuel, and a wet plug. Pulled the plug and it sparks. As I was pulling the cord I broke the recoil rope. I carefully removed the recoil and replaced the rope. I put the recoil back on and got like three pulls till all of a sudden a loud click and the rope didn't go back in. I took it back apart and of course the spring came unwound. Now I'm tryin to figure out how to get the spring tab back onto the plastic wheel. I have wound and rewound the spring 4 times attempting to get the spring to hook so I can put the rope back on and get back to work on this restoration.

It's good to see the schematic. There's just no description of technique used to get the spring to hook onto the wind up wheel. Thank you though!
