    water pump design failures.

Check weep hole under water pump cover for dripping. Atleast the mechanical seal is common design and easy to get.

I think a z400 /kxf400 rear shock will bolt right on to the 1991/92 swingarm setup which is superior and different than previous years.

The FMF pipe was not my favorite, As soon as I bolted on a Paul Turner high rev pipe it was a big difference. The stock pipe with a aftermarket silencer is just as good as any FMF for the LT if you ask me.

Blowing base gasket under intake where case halves meet. loose motor mount bolts and tight head stay = bad news. (maybe your cool head has no head stay?)

Rear brake failures and blown rear shock.

Good list ^^. 2nd gear for some guys is weak. And as he said. Rear shocks blow more than they should.

The QRs were known for being squirelly. They have a lot of bump steer, but if you go to suzukiquadracerhq.com, they should be able to help you set it up properly.
