what are the best tires and size for trails? the trails have water, mud, rocks, roots, and hill climbs there are some wide and some narrow parts...
what do you think would be the best tire and in what size

Tough to be the ol trusty Wooly boogers on a utility 3 wheeler.I've climbed many hill and crossed many mud holes with them.

I like 44 inch super swamper boggers on my off road truck.
Depends on what the tires are going on. I had itp mudlites on my big red and they were alright but I sold them to my buddy and put kenda bear claw's on it now with just the stock knobby in the front and I love em so far haven't had them in the thick mud yet because I got them this fall but they go much better in the rocks, snow, and gravel than the mudlites did.
I have 25x12x9 carlisle trail wolf tires on my big red. They are ok. most of my riding is in sand , mud , and some pavement going from trail to trail.
