    person states these are the original fenders from 86.. who is he fooling

    By no means am I a 350X expert, but didn't the 1986 model have white fenders?

    actually i do. the 85 was a more creamy white to go with the red fenders. but the 86 was a Shasta white to fit in with the true white fenders.
    1985 code= NH23
    1986 code= NH138 (Shasta)

    guy tried to cover a hole in the fenders with the warning / spec sticker. Classic!

    At least he was honest about it. Why not buy original fork boots? They are still available...

    Check the VIN. Tenth digit is G. Its an 86.

    And he does not state that the fenders are 86 original. He just says they are OEM, which they are. Tank looks Shasta white to me...
