    84ytm rear brakes

    Hey it's me again lol.i am wondering are the rear brakes on the 84 ytm 200e as easy as the 85 honda 250es?i hear they are rear disc.

    I replaced mine on my YTM200Ek and it took less than an hour, most of the time it took was unscrewing the rusted corroded brake cable threads, after that it was a breeze and then a bit longer getting the cables adjusted.

    Nothing to it . Make sure you clean the cup , and back the adjustment off . Assemble then re-adjust . Its a mechanical disc , works well ,,, take time refer to the manual .

    Thx alot figured it wouldn't be to bad.i did my 85 big red 250 rears in about half hour .are they half moon shoes or pads like a car?

    Its a mechanical disc " pad " They are round , I geuss about 2 inches or so . I think I paid 9 bucks for the set .
