    atc 110 carb on atc 90 . what jets to use.

    i just rebuilt my 77 atc 90 and am runnin stock everything. bored ten over. surprised it still had the stock piston. any way i would like to get a lil more throttle response out of it like my 83 110, so anybody who has ran a 110 carb, what jets did u use and where did u get em . thanks.

    I dont know anything about either model and i can tell you that the 110 has more throttle response because its a bigger engine with more power

    Hi;

    Well, jetting depends upon your elevation and air temp etc. If "properly" jetted…a bike that is in Denver Colorado will be jetted differently than the same bike would if it were in in Phoenix Az etc.

    I think it would be helpful to do a few things:

    If your plug is new, look at it after an hour of riding. The color will be a guide.

    White or lite gray = lean, might have initial hesitation on acceleration.

    Lite tan = slightly lean

    Med tan = ideal

    Dark tan = slightly rich, might have initial sputter/burble upon acceleration.

    Dark dry black = very rich, should sputter/burble and possibly blow black smoke out the pipe.

    From flat ground or slight uphill, accelerate slowly and again quickly from a stop, and from around 5 mph in second gear.

    If it has 0 hesitation/sputter/burble etc the jetting is extremely close if not ideal.

    If it burbles/sputters at all, it is likely rich.

    If it simply fails to accelerate for a half a second like it is out of gas before it goes, it is likely lean.

    If it runs perfectly, you can lower the gearing [smaller front or larger rear gear] slightly to improve "response".
