Beau, as mentioned above, do not even consider an engine swap until you have determined if the engine you have can be made to run.
First, pull the spark plug and check for spark.
Second, check for engine compression. You can borrow a compression gauge from most automotive stores. If the machine has been sitting, check compression both dry and wet (small amount of oil).
Third, if you have spark and compression, try putting a small amount of gas in the cylinder, put the plug back in and see if the bike will fire.
Forth, if it coughs, you probably has a carburetor problem which is common for bike that have been sitting.
If no spark or compression, repost and members can help you find possible causes.
Old 200X's never die. They are either rebuilt or are disassembled and sold off part by part.
