86 TRX250 2WD (Big Red quad) front tire question

I picked up one of these in the fall for my wife..she's three wheel timid but will ride with me if she has four wheels..

Anyway, the PO put golf cart tires on it and I'm gonna change them.

Wondering if anyone has played around with front tire sizes and how big I can go before they rub?

Hoping to go to 25" if possible??

The fronts are stock at 22-7-10. The biggest I ever ran was 24x8x10 but they just started to rub when front was bottomed out.
I have one with ruined rears that are 25x11x9 and they didn't rub when it ran...IMAG0369.jpg

Doug check your frame around the front control arms. These LOVE to bend/brake there,,usually lots of welds around them down here 85-87,,ALL of them. If all is straight and safe. I THINK,,, the width will bite you before the height. IF I recall right,,fat chance lol. They will rub the control arm before anything else.I am with you 100% the bigger the rubber you can get on that one in front,the better.
