I can weigh my set of OEM ones that are on rims and get back to you. The aluminum rims don't weigh that much. Maybe 1-3 lbs. My tires are 2 ply and those Chevrons are 4 ply. So they're going to be heavier than OEM but idk how much so

Being 34 years old and having 20 plus years riding atvs under my belt, piloting 90s, 200Xs, 350xs, Tecates (250 and 500), 250Rs (2nd and 3rd gen), and nearly every sport/race quad including almost every modern 450 made, across all of the Oregon dunes, I'm going to have to say no. No, I won't change my mind. Unless your 200x has 10+ inches of travel and 35+ horsepower.
Those Carlisles look like rototiller tires lol. I have been wanting to try these out- http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/...ss-XC-ATV-Tire
A lot of the time high air pressure is the only thing from keeping a MX tire from excelling in the sand. The best solution is two sets of tires still IMO. Good luck on your search and maybe I will see ya out there some day!![]()

Hello hawaiirider;
Leaning towards the klaws or bearklaws?
What did like and NOT not like about them?
What do you mean by look perfect?
What do you not like about the look of the two below?

From jb2. See if they come in your size if interested.

Some of the ones on the link below have a decent san/mud tread.
http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/se...y+booger+tires
Why are you concerned about weight?
What diameter or height were your wooly boogers?
i have a set of wooly boogers in my garage but they're flat
Comp grooved Rawhides?
hey glaminator... what cha doin monday? thinkin bout burying some turds in the sand with jabba. got a couple sets of dem rawhides. if they hold air ill offer up a set to nudflap87 and we can all tres rock a set. you down?
those rawhides are perfect,
i guess nobody like the rototiller tires i posted the link on.
barnett, i cant run a 22 inch tire on my x, the rear is extended and lowered, in other words the tires will rub the fender (86 200x fender on as well not the 83-85)
a 20 inch works fine never hits at all even jumping
ezmoney your crazy man, i wouldnt lie about the little x making it up banshee hill. i weigh 160lbs so im light and i guess thats why probably. just pm me when you come down my buddies all ride 200x's as well they all go anywhere in winchester even the "spot under the tree"
Hello hawaiirider;
Just curious, which ones in the link below are you referring to?
http://www.thefind.com/cars/info-goo...hide-atv-tires
I do not see any 20" ones. Some are 4 ply, some are 6 and some are discontinued.The radials are likely heavy and you implied you did not want to use a "heavy" tire.
Are you certain you can get up that hill without a dedicated sand tire?
Oh no, I personally think their PERFECT for a ROTOTILLER, lol.
Some of the tires I posted come in 20". I was just showing the tread design.
perfect for the rototiller lol!!!
i didnt notice the lumberjacks being 20inch thought they were 22 only
my wooley boogers packed me up any and i mean any hill, better than a paddle because they let the low powered x motor spin a little.
but they handled bad - wouldnt slide for anything just like the snow tires.
those old rawhides glamy posted would be good because they are square like a holeshot and a v design = good traction = handling
ill probably just go with a motocross style tire, i know they wont pack me up banshee hill but the great handling is worth it.
its hard to find a multipurpose tire for what im trying to do, whew!
