I have a moose aftermarket thumb throttle and need a throttle cable that will work with the stock round slide carburator. The factory Tri Z cable is discontinued. Does anyone know if a honda atc thumb throttle cable will work? Which ones? I really just want a part that I can go to the dealer a purchase without having to modify anything.

look into 88 and 89 banshee cables. are you trying this on the 85 z or the 86 without the cable box by the neck??

Check with motion pro, i think they make a replacement.

I have read in other threads that the 83-84 ATC250R cable is what you need. I will be needing the same thing on my Tri-Z resto when I get to that point. I believe Raffa is the one who answered this last time, try searching it.

I will not be using a cable box and I have heard the same about the 83 250R cable but when I checked online these are also discontinued.
