Well there is a lot of information needed to say the $2000 range is right for this machine or totally nutz..
Now to start there are factors, 1st your location. In some regions of 'USA' you just pay more for these premium machines.
Next the 'pretty good shape'..by that there are alot of variables. If I was gonna consider paying top dollar for a machine there are things I would look at..besides of course if it's pretty or not! Things like swingarm, rear axle and bearings, brakes and hydralic system, chain and sprockets, left side of engine case for damage from the chain jumping..happens alot on this machine and people have to repair the engine side cover. Plastic OEM or not, tires and rims naturally, handle bars, frame, exhaust...well you get the point.
No question the return to popularity is causing the price to go up sharply in the last 3-4 years..heII, I use to find decent 350x in SE Michigan pretty regularly for $800-1200.

Just a few..
And my 1st and only 85 250R I got for $800..

Those days sure are done!!
Anyway, now it's a much more seller oriented market..
So to anyway..is this worth in the plus side of $2000?? Yes it maybe..more information is definitely required to make that assessment. Good luck and happy hunting..
