    Atc 110 Questions.

    Hey fellas... I'm going tomorrow to look at a pair of 110's in exchange for some R parts... I've never owned a 110 (or ridden 1 I think) so looking for any advice... The guy doesn't know what year they are, he said he thinks one of them has a hi-low switch & the other doesn't, that's all I know about them so far...

    Any advice would help...like any hard to find parts that may be missing, any spots where the frames break, etc.. plus any info on the difference between years would help too in case I cant read the frame sticker...

    Go look, use your gutt..if it feels like they are in pretty decent shape and the deal feels good, do it. If they are old and tired and beat, walk!

    They are a pretty straight forward machine as are all the Honda ATCs..parts are plentiful and pretty cheap.

    Take some pics and ask whatever questions you need..

    At worst case you could always part them..if they have some decent plastic, pull starters and little or no rust in the tanks you are likely to profit and I'd go for it.

    Decide what your 'R parts' are worth..and do some quick in your head math!

    The ATC 110 underwent a fairly significant model update between 1982 and 1983. The gas tank/fenders/seat changed and the headlight changed.
    Compared to the ATC 125m, the ATC 110 is lighter because there's no electric starter or battery. It's also a small-framed machine so if you're large-frame then you'll be cramped riding it. Reliability-wise, the engine design is excellent. It has a centrifugal oil cleaner and an oil pump suction strainer. The shift drum's detent mechanism has a weak link in the drum stopper arm (it breaks) but an updated arm is $12 and installation is pretty easy. Check for it by shifting the transmission; verifying no false neutrals during downshifting.

    Hello LastFoolerInVA;

    Hey, how have you been?

    Below are ENGINE numbers, it should help a bit. MonroeMike had it posted. The numbers might be by the shifter or on top of the cases near the rear,

    I hope they work out for you. The little trikes are kinda addicting and fun to beat the heck out of.
