I built a 70 with a Honda 110 engine in it last spring. I had to dent the bottom inside of the tank on.the left side to clear the carb. Is there an intake out there that is made so the carb will clear the tank without denting it?

Not sure if this would work but I ran my intake and carb mounted backwards on my race 110 back in the day. Worked really well, had plenty of clearance as well as looking cool.
May try turning it around and see if you have more clearance. (the rear of the carb will face forward on the right side of the bike) Hope that makes since......
