ok... im lost... 110 wont start

ok, so here's the deal. Yesturday i took apart the carb, cleaned it and what not. put it back together today. i cleaned my air filter yesturday, let it sit over night and put it back on today. there's a somewhat new spark plug in there, and it's getting spark (or at least it is when it's touching the block). i adjusted the valves today before firing it up. it fired up and i rode down the street and back and it rode damn good. i loaded it up, went to the closest gas station to put air in the tires (my compressor was stolen a couple weeks ago), and came home. tried to fire it up and the pull rope broke. so i pulled the pull starter off, redid the pull rope, put everything back together, and now the thing wont start. it still has spark when it's touching the block, and fuel is getting to the cylinder. im just completely lost now. any ideas?

Have you checked the plug? Is it fouled up? I've had the same problem with my 110; I just spray some carb cleaner on the plug and let it dry. With a clean plug, my 110 will generally start with the first pull.

you sir... are a saint. unfortunately you were wrong about the first pull.

it was the second pull that got it started for me.

Idk what it is but it seems like when I haul my 110 or my grandpas 500 quadrunner a pretty good ways when we unload the to start riding they act like they are running out if gas? I think air is some how being forced through the carb and flooding them out?

yea, these things are weird. it's seems like it's always just the simple stuff that messes them up. but if i were you i would check the carb gasket going into the manifold. mine doesn't seal up all the way for some reason. that could be a possibility, or you just might not be getting enough air. check your filter and make sure they are clean. if you have a little aftermarket filter go get the K&N cleaning kit and give them a good clean. see if that helps

That might be it because my grandpa is finding gas in the oil and alot of gas has been coming from the air box vents

eh... you sure it's gas in the oil and not water? you might also wanna check your float needles too. bad float needles could cause an overflow of gasoline in the bowl. also your gaskets throughout your carb. i would make sure those are still in decent condition.

Ok will do and I'm prositive it's gas smelt it am ran it between my fingers had the oil textur and the gas smell
