I ended up having a local machine shop make me up a new one, My pivot bolt was pretty beat up also. I searched ebay for a couple months and only came across one and it was over 100$ if i remember correctly. If your buddy's bolt is not to severely damaged bringing it to a machine shop may be the way to go, going that route only cost me 40$ versus the alternative of searching ebay.

Bigdaddy has the right idea. people pop up selling batches of them for around 100$, best bet would be to take what you have to a machine shop and have 10 or so made and start listing them forsale here and ebay. People need them more often than you think and some will pay well over 100 for one

If i had the spare cash i would have already gone that route! lol. that was one of the first things i thought about when i went to go pick mine up from the machine shop especially when i saw how good of a job he did at making mine!.

Problem with them is when you need one you cant seem to find one and then when you DO find one you pay the $100 or so to get it, I screwed up i should have had at least 2 or 3 made when i had mine initially made... Only good thing is the shop is right around the corner i think before i button up my 300 build i am going to take the pivot bolt back out and having him at the very least make me a spare

Never heard of a parts fish...must be an amateur thing.
But you can always reference the microFICHE if you are needing guidance.
