    Mint 1985 Big Red

Well, I'm still in New Member status and rightfully so, I think that I have only ever made two posts. I am usually a Reader. This is simply one of the best places on the net to get good info on Trikes of all makes and models. That being said: I'm gonna step out on a limb and tell the members that my pristine '85 Big Red is currently posted on Ebay. I hate to sell it, but I have a three wheeler addiction and the sale of this trike will free up some funds to play with buying others.

Has to be one of the nicest around. Iknow....I'm not giving it away, but one in this condition is a rare machine. I don't have to sell it....hell, I own it already.

So, they are talking about my trike on the Ebay Forum on 3WW, but I can't comment or answer anyones questions because I still have new member status. Oh, well. For anyone listening ..... the reserve is $3300. I plan to edit the Ebay post tomorrow and make that public knowledge. Getting lots of emails about it and a few people asking for the local buy it now price. Unless someone shows up with a pocket full of cash, I intend to let the auction run its course. I am confident that it will get the $3300. Thanks to all those who have looked. I would put all the pics under my profile but can't figure it out for the life of me.

Beautiful ride. I'd hate to see someone buy it and beat on her.

I still can't believe this went for the reserve at $3300. I have seen machines not near as clean go for the same or maybe even a little more.

I had stepped away because of some issues going on locally and had to have my attention elsewhere, but I had planned on making a run at this one. Someone got a pretty decent little deal, I honestly thought this one would be closer to the 4000-4500 mark.

    Not, to worry.

I am the owner of the bike. Auction ended yesterday and the guy is totally flaking out on me. Claims that his son put in the bid. Unbelievable. Casey from Hebron, Nebraska. I would be shocked if he didn't have a handle here. He tells me that he has alot of wheelers and now he wants to trade. Sooooo....disapointing.

    Alright,
For what it is worth, Casey, the winner of the auction for my mint Big Red, who didn't want to pay up.....is doing everything he can to make a bad deal good. As it turns out, Casey, has quite a collection of quality three wheelers. We are doing what we can to negotiate some sort of trade that will involve a lot of shipping. We will see how it turns out. I appreciate his efforts as well as his personal collection.
