kenwood radio in my truck wont work

Im fixing up my 72 chevy luv right now and I got a nice kenwood radio for 10 bucks its model kdc132. I wired the radio all up and it lights up and turns on good but wont play sound out of the speakers. I rechecked my wiring the antenna is plugged in. I tried different speakers. Have the manual and wiring schematic so I know its hooked up right. Im thinking the radio is probably junk. What you guys think?

yeah if you are confident in your wiring then the internal amp on the head unit is probably bad

The only radio I used in my car is a Pioneer. JVC and Kenwood is junk.
I bought the cheapest (100$) Pioneer CD Player 10 years ago, put it in 3 different car and it still like new.
