    Kearney Powersports in Nebraska

So most of you know about this place. The guy has tons of 3 wheelers displayed in his store. See link below. However, I contacted him to inquire about his P3. Here is what he said:

"Thanks for inquiring about the three-wheeler. At this time I do not have an interest in selling only one of them. If you or a group of people would be interested in quite a few of them I may consider selling them."

    Craig Stokebrand (M.D.)

    (Motorcycle Dealer)

Anyone want to run with this?

Wonder what he would want for each particular bike like a 350X and how many ? Hmmm maybe 10 members each bought one? He may want a pretty penny for some of them, I Know I would, He has some MINT machines.

Count me in if you want to get a group together. As long as he doesn't want 10 grand a bike I will put cash on the line.

I'd almost rather see them stay there. For like a mini-museum. Would hate to see those get torn up from being ridden.

He turned down almost quarter million. Not to say if he wouldnt take it if offered again, but I also know that the collection isn't getting any smaller.

And we all know its getting more valuable by the day.

I have begged with every bit of my energy for him to sell me his 1st gen 200x, no luck so far.

I kind of figured he would want big bucks. Don't blame him though, could be his retirement plan.

Wonder where he got them all though.

He just keeps buying them from individual sellers.

I think Craig has more than trikes in mind for his retirement plan.....lol!!

Honestly I think he just really, really likes them. This thread is promoting another inquiry on the X......but I'm sure I'll get shot down again haha...

Some are unrestored originals, some have been restored, there are a couple that aren't 100% correct, but still staggering to to see in person. There are more there than what is posted on the website.

Sorry for the double post I didn't see the question at first.

Those machines should probably stay right where they are..it's would be a terrible shame for them to leave his hands as most would likely end up being ridden.

He's doing a great service to the history of these machines being so tight with them..hope he continues to do so.

    Sorry guys..just being honest!!

Note: just realized I repeated what Slashfan said..guess I should read before posting!!

    Honestly I think so too.

My offer to buy the 200x includes a proposal to leave it right where it is, and a seller's remorse buy back option. Its no problem for me to leave it there since Kearney is where my family lives.

The only reason I keep such close tabs on it is because if anyone gets to buy that one, I want it to be me!

If I ever win the Lotto, I would make a museum with them.

As mush as I would love to get my hands on a couple, it just seems like we would be destroying a time capsule for nothing.
It would be a great loss if this collection should ever be separated. It needs to be kept together and preserved.

I personally think that he should just give every single one of them to me in order to fully evaluate each trikes performance and durability under the rigors of extraordinary riding in semi extreme conditions. lets face it guys it would be for the good of all man kind but mostly just my entertainment. awe who am I kidding They would prolly be better off hanging on his walls

In a couple weeks I'll be hanging around the Kearney Area for a while fellas. I'm excited to go and view the collection in person, now that I have entered the three wheelin' community it will be totally different, and way better! I'm posting this because I think I'll take more pictures for myself, and I was wondering if anybody here just can't live without a certain angle on any certain trike. See anything you want more info on??

Since my brother (actually 1st cousin but I more often refer to him as my little brother as we were raised as close as any and often slept in the same house. I've got 60 or more first cousins, josh is my brother ) has worked there for a long time, I have a bit more access than most. Josh is also a member here, jman311.

I'm also considering a short interview with Craig about some of the more rare trikes, how he gets them, how he got into them, etc. He's busy, but he is also a great guy and obviously a trike fan, so I would not be the least bit surprised if he obliges.

I will not make second hand inquiries for purchases on the trikes. I already know that every time this gets brought up here, he gets calls from 3ww members trying to buy. That's your perogative, but he's not ready to sell right now, and I'm not going to bug him about it. Well, except for MY 200x

I actually have taken journalism classes, despite my lazy way of typing and communicating my thoughts on the net. If I do an Interview, it will be a serious one. I'm still new here, so theres gonna be things I dont think to ask, if I don't get help from you guys. Without getting too excited, cuz I don't wanna let anybody here down, if I could get some input on the idea, specific questions about specific machines (except is it for sale) etc, I would really appreciate it.

I added the link again below. I know that there are more trikes than they show on the website, so my first priority on this project will be to get shots of those.
