Steal on a 125M in my opinion?

Found an 84' 125M on craigslist bored on a Saturday.... wanted to pick something up for the wife to ride because its too hard to fit 2 ppl on the 350X and she's scared of the wheelie!? haha anyhow guy wanted 400$ I offered him 300$ if I could pick up that day and see it run... turned out to be beautiful. it also came with some 110 fenders I don't know the year or if there was a difference in fenders between years...? but I am tryin to post some pics of the 125M. I added a cheap battery yesterday for 45$ and some new tires from northern tool. Click image for larger version.

Not too bad at all! Good deal on it. The keyswitch is like $20 or less if you buy a chinese aftermarket one, and the recoil could be had for $50 or less. I definitely would have bought it also!

I thought 110 and 125 rear _fenders_ were the same....you sure it's not just the flaps (the part with 110 or 125m lettering) that are different?

these one seem to be a bit shorter.... the part below the seat that says 125M is longer than the 110 fenders I have.... maybe other years they may be swappable but not sure about this one!

Ok there are two differnt versions of the 110 the 83 to 85 and the 79 to 82. The 110 83 to 85 fenders will work on a 84 85 125m. But the 79 to 85 fenders will not work. Maier sells new aftermarket front and rears for that bike. So you might want to look in to that.
