    350x carb leaking out the vent and wont stop

    I just rebuilt it it kept leaking out of the vent on the back of the carb it still does it after the rebuild what is causing it.

    your float level setting may be off or the needle valve may not be seating properly,did you replace the needle and seat or just clean it out.i'll go get my manual out of the garage and see if i can get you more info

    Should be the needle valve. Either it is worn where it is supposed to seat or the float is stuck and the needle won't seat. I've done this several times--once, the needle was bad--other times were my fault putting things together. It's no big deal either way

    The Go-Go girl leaked fuel out of the back after I let a Quadboy run over his leg riding it and tipped it on it's side. I assume the float stuck open and caused the fuel to rush straight through it out that back line. He then showed another Trike-Riding-Wannabe how to kickstart it, and broke the lever.

    did you put the hoses back on correctly? i did that on my 200x and it kept leaking out the overflow, but then realized what i did :oops:

    Yeah the hoses are on correctly. The float is non ajustable it looks good and i replaced the needle.does the seat come out or is it pressed in thanx
