So I'd like to have an extended swinger on my 82 250r. Was planning on getting the original "stretched" but after reading through numerous threads (search feature does work) I found one comment that stated it is "stamped" and not a ideal candidate to stretch. Other options are ebay and a minimum of $350 for period correct aftermarket versions, custom made $$$$ or I've seen several references of adapting a 450r quad swinger. 450r option lends to more parts availability and even aftermarket options.
