For those of you that have turboed a carb motor before. What are pros and cons of blow through vs draw thru

Blow through systems are more commonly used because the carburetor is usually left in the stock position. The draw through systems can kill the turbos faster because the fuel is sucked into the compressor side of the turbo, which can eventually weaken the turbo seals. The theoretical advantage to a draw through is that the air/fuel atomizes better due to the turbo swirling the mixture around when the air/fuel travels through the compressor side of the turbo.

On a blow through, the easiest way is to build a turbo box and if the carburetor is jetted correctly it can deal with low boost with ease.

On a draw through, you cannot intercool the intake charge, because the intake charge already has fuel in it, and the intercooler will deatomize the already atomized intake charged air/fuel mixture.

Sooooo.....are you really gonna do this?? I'm wondering what it will be like to ride when the lag catches up.......

theres a guy over on sand slingers forum who has a turbo'd full suspension ATC70. Think he used a little turbo off an International generator or something like that

I think there is a pic of one in the mad 70's thread . Race Demon has one, well I think his is supercharged and its a draw thru carb set up, but he hasnt been able to get the carb set up right, He Is planning on going EFI to the kit listed about is around 500. If you are going to do it I would go EFI. One of my buddys has a 350x we turbo chargerd with a draw thru carb set up. We plan on going to EFI on it to for the ease of tuning. I was just at a honda dealer today honda has a 125 street bike with a laydown motor that is fuel injected its new for 14 I will try to post a pic of it.
If its on the internet its got to be true they can't put any lie's on the internet

Hmmmm!?! I work at a Honda dealership. I'll have to go across the street to the powerstore and check it out.

So compressor maps for the RHB31 and 32 are proving difficult to find online. But best I can tell a 125cc 4 stroke isn't nearly enough engine for that turbo.
