    480R Build

I just bought a 250r with a 480r motor. I was wondering if anyone makes a conversion kit? Motor mounts, exhaust, and kick start adapter? The work that has already been done is not the best. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

    What year is your 250R?

    Could you post some pics?

I would think you'll need to fabricate the motor mounts and what not

I don't really understand; is it running or is it just a 480CR motor put in a 250R rolling chassis?

In the pic, the kick doesn't seem to clear the frame? Am I wrong?
I can't see the rear mount; how it is?
Have you got the pipe or just a 250R pipe as it seems in the pic?

I'm currently building one and would be very interested to see detailed pics of your.

It's more of a 480cr motor in 250r frame. Nothing has been done to make the kick starter clear, the pipe from what I can tell is a 250r pipe, and the motor is partially mounted in the frame but I don't know how well the front mounts would hold up. I don't have any pics of the mounts right now but I'll take some and post them. The biggest thing I'm trying to figure out is the exhaust and kick start. I have any idea for the front motor mounts and the rear mounts that came with it, will probably work.

Yeah I had found a running 250r motor on craigslist and almost bought but I think I am just going to put the money towards the build. I just cant wait to ride.

Rayatc84, I was looking at your build and I love the motor mounts you had made. Can get the design plans or something so I can get some made for my conversion? I would greatly apprecitate it!!! Great Work!!
