Can the Yamaha DR trans. swap with the DX trans.? The Dr has reverse which is the whole point of doing the swap but does it have the same shaft, or can I use the one from the DX? Has anyone done this?

the tranny can be swapped, but so do some of the reverse parts, including the case. i do believe you can use all the same universal from the dx, or shaft. its possible, but you'd need the dr cases, gears, and all the linkages.
