Ok so I picked up a running cr250 and traded it off well that bike made me want to get my old 85 cr250 running. Well I replaced the reeds because it wasn't getting fuel. dry plug. then it was a pain to get started and would not run for ... So I checked and had weak spark. re[placed the plug wired and bam just like that instantly ran like a top. So I took it out and scared the out of myself. 200+ psi, stroker crank, dg exhaust, 38mm mik carb I forgot how much fun I used to have on this thing and its still scary as hell. comes up in every gear with absolute ease. ill get pics soon gonna be doing a frame up like I did on my x. heres the reed cage. notice the wacky little fin things that come on it are gone?? I figure they don't put em on a rad valve I don't need em on my stocker..
