Stumbled on a goldmine. P#'s for all ATCs and all ATC parts + more!!!

Doing some research and I just stumbled across this website. For $29.95, you supposedly can have a searchable computer program that has part numbers for nearly every single part on every single model Honda made from 1959-2008 and this includes every single three wheeler Honda made. Considering all the information you are given access to, I would say $30 is an EXCEPTIONAL price. This log includes all Honda three wheelers and part numbers for each three wheeler part on every model, including several rarer 1987 Honda's. These guys also have, for a separate price, part numbers for all Kawasaki's, Yamaha's, and Suzuki's . This includes three wheelers such as the Tecate's, Tri-Zingers; you name it, it's there.. Now everyone has access to part numbers if needed.

This is what they are saying:

    Included In this Package:
Most Honda Part Numbers for Motorcycles, ATV's and Scooters from 1959 to 2008
Select a model and all parts which were used on the model will be displayed
Select a part and all included models which used the part will be displayed.
Enter a part number and all included models which used the part will be displayed

You can find the list of every model in the log here (again with every P# on every part on a given machine):

    http://zedder.com/msg17.htm

Not sure if this has ever been posted before, but I'm pretty sure this would be a seriously valued resource among us enthusiasts. They also have international (read: worldwide) Honda P#'s if you want them. This should make sourcing parts from other models that interchange easier for us all. The value here with this is it also tells you matching part numbers....no more searching!!! If you have searched a part, and it shows, it shows you were you can get them off other models and it tells you if it will fit! This is useful if parts are rare.

Not saying what you found is not valuable, but I believe I can do basically the same thing for free by going to parts sight Partzilla. I use this site to look up part #s and applicable models when posting parts on feebay. My example being a coil for an 83 YTM200K. Just input the year, manufacturer, and model on the home page. It then routes to parts groups where you choose a microfiche that has that part in it (this case electrical). Find the part and # on the part explosion. Click on the part # below drawing and it will bring you to the screen shown in the link below providing all the models this part # was used on (In this case 29 different models). Maybe your source is cleaner or provides more info or cross referencing I don't know. But for me I'll save the $30 and go this route. Now if this site shows cross references of part #'s that don't match but are interchangeable between different models that may be of more value ( example would be how many different rear wheel hubs from different models (trikes quads etc) fit onto a 250R rear axle spline) . Nice job on finding an alternative that may be more desirable for members. Again this is not meant to be a put down to your find, just an alternative.

I believe to an extent it does something like this, but I'm not 100% sure. I have not tested it yet personally, but I have been hearing good results so far from those who have it.

Let us know. That would add a whole new perspective on things

If you don't hear it from me, someone will probably chime in.

I think another nice thing is that if for some reason that site goes down, you always have these on your computer too. Just food for thought.

Not sure if you've seen the pictures of the program, but it seems to be pretty basic and very Microsoft Excel-spreadsheet oriented which makes organizing easy.

A reason that I can still buy a lot of bearings and seals directly from honda through my local shop is because they are used all the way up until 2008 or newer on the CRF (mostly 250) models.
I believe that's where this has the advantage. If the number changed, it still shows as compatible, and what machines it was used on, or at least I'm pretty sure it does. The cross referencing is instantaneous.

I think you have to know the other machine on those sites in order to see if numbers match. This does that for you, as well as showing you what other machines it was used on, immediatly.

Ah well the site has that covered sometimes too. For a number, lets say #15 in some fiche, it may have 3-4 part #'s listed because some do supersede over time and the people that handle the fiche's have that covered.

I would have to see feedback on this program before it would convince me to buy it.

    I think it's Windows only.

Doubt it. Macs need a different file than windows ones do when it comes to downloads. I dont think that a Mac can do much with an .exe file, which is the form that I would think this comes in.

This thread is a year old have you verified this is a better way to determine what parts interchange as opposed to using partzilla?
