    Big Red lives

Got the motor back together in the 1985 250es. Added gas and a new battery. It started almost as soon as I touched the starter button. Waiting for another gas tank from ebay [the old one could not be fixed]. I told my wife when she asked that it was running. She quickly came back with "is it moving?" How do they know? Just a few more things to do like tires and brake cables as the rear drum was locked from a stuck cable.

I think about how many hours I spent riding this particular atc so many years ago. I think about how I taught my son to ride it. Yes I am getting old. What's funny is when I tell people about the three wheeler their first response is always [wait for it] "those things are dangerous." There is a point to all this I'm just not quite sure what it is.

Dangerous, yes. Not as much as driving 55 on a two lane road with drivers coming the other way at 55 and likely texting.
