Its a gocart, lol. Need to find out what engine it is. Help!! please :)

I have a friend who loves trikes. We like to go out into the country and ride sometimes. He recently bought himself a gocart. I told him I would find out any and all information I can for him to get it going. He needs a complete wireing harness. The engine is out of a honda quad I think. It has electric start and kick start. Its a 4 stroke and its a shaft drive semi auto 4 speed with reverse. If I can find out what the engine came out of he might be able to find parts ect to get it going. A pdf shop manual would be great, lol. What did it come out of and what year?? All help would be greatly aprishd..

it's from a fourtrax 300 from a little digging around I did using Google (TE14E indicates that it's from the 4trax 300, the other numbers are just the production number). as for year, I have no idea, best bet would be to contact Honda/Local Dealer and ask them.

TRX 300 N-S or 92-95 meaning the TE14E-84**** engine was used in the TRX300 series 4wheelers 92-95

My buddy has a '95 TRX300. 2wd utility, not bad. He hauls wood/deer with it at his cabin

it's a Honda 300 fourtrax and it could be any year between 92-95 and you can get a manual here: http://www.hondaatvforums.net/forums...all-years.html

Its a home made cart. Pretty good put-togeather. Just funky engine wireing. Heh..
