    Anyone seen this set up before???

    This is for a 225dx ... well I have a DR and mine had the cover does anyone know where to get that piece so I can get rid of the disc cover??
    '04 450r, hr +3 stroker, s2 hotcam

    do you need the cover? i dont any reason why you do. That is the stock brake cam, only looks to be pretty new. i like to keep the cover on the keep crud out

    nope, the cam is all one piece. it bolts into the rear axel carrier. the cover is to protect the disk, and it holds the spring that returns the cam to normal. you could make your own spring holder out of some steel.
