    1984 YTM 200? Not sure

I just bought a trike and the guy i bought it from said that it was a 1984 yamaha tri moto 225. On the plastics though, the part of the decals that are left, says 200. It doesnt have rear suspension. Im hoping someone can help me figure out the exact model i have. i included a picture. also a couple other things is it smokes pretty good and not sure why. also the front end always is pulling to the right. and last when im in 1st gear just starting out it doesnt seem to have full power at first i gotta give it some gas and it doesnt really want to go and after a few seconds it seems to kick in and be normal and i dont know why

The centrifugal clutch needs some RPM to engage. It may be worn, or you may weigh over 180#, or it may be those oversized rear tires. Either, or all will need some extra throttle to get the thing moving. Like Ben said, your fork looks tweaked.

84 is shaft drive . 4 wheel lugs or 3 ? The front does look bent , but make sure the axle is trailing on both sides . Behind the tube .

When I got my 85 ytm225 back in 1999, I wondered why it burned so much oil. I decided to check the air filter one day. I took the cover off, saw the filter laying in the bottom of the air box, put the lid back on and rode it until it wouldn't run any more. The damage had already been done by that time. I hope that's not your problem too.

This is a chain driven so it cant be an '84? ya i noticed how the air filterdoesnt clamp or screw onto anything it just kinda sits in there but so far its been staying where its suppost to be. There 3 lugs to. what type of oil would this trike take? and i only paid $175 for it so for that price i cant really lose either way
