I have an 87 250SX in awesome condition (Totally worth putting money into). Recently the clutch began to slip. I took it apart and it actually looked ok but I replaced the centrifugal clutch shoes anyway (replaced with aftermarket shoes). Drum, springs, basket, and plates & fibers all looked fine and were within spec. After re-assy same result... still slipping. So next I ordered a new set of OEM fibers for the secondary clutch (thinking that they were old and hard). Just re-assembled and same FREAKEN RESULT! What else should I be checking for my 3rd attempt at this repair????? As I stated the other parts looked fine and were within spec of the shop manual.
