Number 8 installs mostly as one piece...pretty easy compared to the caliper.
Use some silicone based caliper grease on the pins/hangers - #11 #12 #17 on the Front caliper microfiche.
You will love how your new brakes feel when finished. Good luck.

NICE! Yeah, those caliper slide pins are designed to allow the caliper to slide ove as the pads wear are notoriously overlooked by many of us.......

I scored a case (12 pack on the cheap) of high temp Dow Corning silicone grease that had expired a year ago so they chuck it. It's actually food grade for conveyor belt bearings and such.....

    Makes a nice 2AM snack

It may take 1 or 2 rides for the pads to seat. Expect the lever to feel a bit spongy after you bleed it the first time.
I rode up a 8 mile canyon and glided back down in neutral. After that the pads were seated and I could use 1 or 2 fingers to lock up the front brake.

Attachment 194752I think I figured it out I wore the brake lever and the bolt for the brake lever out. The brake lever is hitting the master cylinder set at such a bad angle its binding it. I have a new brake lever but I don't have a new bolt so I need to order one. The master cylinder set looks like sewer I have a new one but I have some cleaning to do .

The back is almost done .I had 120# of air pressure on the pistons and they would not budge the rubber was torn and swollen. I had to work them back and forth with a c clamp and air to get them out. I did learn 1 thing do not buy the old discontinued master cylinder rebuild kit that Honda use to sell .I got one off ebay for 20 bucks unopened and had to throw all the rubber parts away. The rubber had turned hard as a rock and the kit moose racing sells is the same stuff from the same factory . I guess some things are discontinued for a reason . The part you want to stay away from is 43520-965-305 .All the parts I bought from Honda individually were great.
