1986 200x muffler options what have you modded that fit

Looking for ideas to replace the muffler on the 200x. I've heard of people using a trx450r muffler, but have never seen one yet. Any other exhaust mufflers work or easily fabbed up.

I have the stock pipe in great condition. I have heard of people using a TRX450r silence without too many modifications, I've heard, never actually seen one. I want to give it a little better power.

Dude I don't think that a trx 450r pipe going to give you anymore power how about a dg or another preformance muffler.

The characteristics of your power curve are more closely related to the header pipe design/dimensions than the silencer. After you have hacked on your stock header pipe to fit a 450r muffler on it, you will not notice any increase in performance.

Get a DG complete system for your 200x, re-jet and enjoy... Unless of course noise restrictions are an issue where you ride.

450r will fit but I have no idea how well it will work fit with the stock header. I put a full 450r system on mine. The header requires a lot of work to fit. As mentioned earlier, IMO using the 450r muffler with a stock 200x header is pissing in the wind for performance gains.
